The Opportunity
We are Vermont's Academic Medical Center and a Level I Trauma Center. Our large OR performs a wide variety of complex cases in both the ambulatory and inpatient settings.
We provide high-quality patient care in a recently revamped facility. As an organization, we recognize the importance of the OR and continually commit to investing our dollars and time in updated equipment and process improvement. We are currently developing a new hybrid OR and our surgeons have been utilizing the Da Vinci Robot for several years. Our Operating Room is well staffed, without the use of Travelers.
Your Skills
You are a RN or MD who is skilled at establishing credibility, building relationships and motivating staff.
You have an in-depth understanding of the OR as a business and have experience managing and growing an OR.
You seek to partner with both nurses and physicians to establish best practices and facilitate change in a collegial, professional environment.
